Path Forward of Kentucky Inc. was founded in January of 2009 as the result of a growing need for vocational services in Louisville and the surrounding area. We expanded our vocational services in 2010 to include working in our Bluegrass area which includes Frankfort, Lexington, Versailles, Georgetown, Lawrenceburg and Richmond KY. Later that year we began serving Bowling Green and the surrounding counties.
In 2010 we were fortunate to be able to begin offering additional services by obtaining certification for the Supports for Community Living and Acquired Brain Injury waivers through the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Services offered through these waivers include: case management, residential, community living supports, respite, positive behavior supports, homemaker and personal care. In 2012 we opened our new office in Frankfort, to serve the growing number of consumers needing services in the Bluegrass Region. In the latter part of 2010 we became authorized by Social Security Administration to begin working with beneficiaries in the Ticket to Work program. This program is designed to help people get off cash benefits (SSI & SSDI) while retaining medical.
We have several exciting new services that have begun in 2018 to include CWIC counseling, business consulting, and more! We are expanding our service areas to include Shelbyville, Elizabethtown and Bowling Green with the SCL and MP Waivers.
In 2020 we opened our Bowling Green office, offering Vocational Rehabilitation and Medicaid Waiver services.
